Newborn Session

Newborn photography is all about capturing the love you hold for your brand new bundle of joy and welcoming them to this world. The best time to contact me is before you have your baby, I recomend  booking for your newborn photoshoot after your 20 week scan and I will then add you to my calendar around your expected due date and send newborn session details. Once you are booked you are guaranteed availability, once your baby arrives, we will arrange exact day of the newborn photo shoot, ideally when your baby is 5-21 days old. Those first special weeks work best to get the curly poses and longer amounts of deep sleep to pose and style. After three weeks of age, they are more likely to be disturbed while sleeping, and can also become colicky. Studio newborn sessions are between 1-3 hours in length, this gives plenty of time for soothing your baby, feeding and nappy changes, nothing is rushed. This is a time to sit down, relax, enjoy the session and get to enjoy this special moment stress free. I take care of everything.

You will have access to all the newborn props, outfits, hats, and headbands which will help us to create timeless portraits of your newborn baby.

The session includes individual newborn poses, family portraits, and also sibling photos. While we are photographing your baby, you can sit by our side or you can relax in our lounge room that includes snacks and refreshments. In a few days after the session, I will send your proofs of the images for selection. After the selection is made, in 2-3 weeks, your photos will be ready to download, keep, print and share.
